How to join

Our joining procedure involves first filling out a brief questionnaire which you will submit to the Secretary.

The Secretary will then send you the New Members Pack which contains all the information you will need to know about becoming a member of the Society.

If you then decide to join the Society you will receive a Membership Card as well as all of the relevant Policy documents. These include our Constitution and the Health and Safety Policy. According to the time of year at which you join you will be subject to a probationary period during which time you and all of your equipment will be covered by our insurance policy.

There is a Membership fee (which is affordable at £50 per annum for adults and £25 for children), however, you will not be expected to pay this until after your probationary period has ended and you still wish to be a member of the Society.

The questionnaire will not take long to fill out! It is just a few questions for us to ascertain exactly what you are looking for and whether we are right for you.

It can be downloaded as a WORD document - Can you then save the file and EMAIL the form back to the Secretary as an attachment.
